Spinning King (India) Limited, the India Office of Hebei Jigao Chemical Fibre Co Ltd China, recently showcased its bamboo fibre at the Vanijya Utsav during Vanijya Saptah organised in Ahmedabad, India as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Besides its Tanboocel – Jigao bamboo fibre, the company showcased its bamboo socks and bamboo towels at the event.
The event organised by District Industries Commissionerate (DIC) was Spinning King’s first time at an event as an exporter. Its main motive to participate was to gauge the usefulness of the bamboo fibre in other industries and find out the market opinion after the COVID-19 pandemic. The company also aimed to highlight the antibacterial properties of its products and get more domestic market for them.
The products exhibited at the show were well received and the event itself was a good opportunity to create more awareness regarding the bamboo fibre in the textile industries, Kishan Kashiwala, the owner of Spinning King, told Fibre2Fashion.

Bamboo is a unique, value added and commercially viable product in the textile Industry. Spinning King imports bamboo fibre and carries out all forward integration and value addition right from spinning, knitting, weaving, processing-dyeing-printing, home textile production and garmenting in India.
Kashiwala said: “We are very happy and appreciate the government’s support to provide us a platform to display and promote our business. Many visitors at the event showed interest in buying our bamboo products like bamboo yarn, fabrics, socks, towels, compressed towels etc. I would also like to personally thank the DIC and congratulate it for the successful event.
“We are very happy that the DIC organisers personally visited our booth, showed interest in product development history and appreciated it. We also got amazing feedback from EDI Office & Industries Commissionerate Office for our bamboo fibre and products.”
