Nominations open for the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare

Modern Healthcare has opened nominations for its annual ranking of the 100 most influential people in healthcare, a list honoring the individuals determined to be the most influential in the industry in terms of leadership and impact. 

The final deadline for nominations is Aug. 14.

Who is eligible?

Entries are accepted from all sectors of the healthcare industry for senior-level executives, high-level government officials and administrators, academics and thought leaders.

What nomination materials are required?

Nominators are asked to describe the nominee’s actions to advance an organization’s clinical, operational and financial goals; contribute to a culture of innovation and transformation; and shape health policy at the local or national level. A current CV/resume and headshot for the nominee are required. Nominators are also encouraged to submit up to five supporting documents, such as letters of recommendation, articles or case studies that speak to the nominee’s leadership and impact.

How much does it cost to nominate?

The nomination fee is $150. You may nominate multiple individuals, but each must be a separate entry with its own nomination fee. Payment does not guarantee being selected as an honoree.

When is the nomination deadline?

Nominations for the 2023 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare must be submitted by Aug. 14 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

How are the honorees selected?

After nominations close, a ballot with 300 names will be shared with readers, allowing them to vote. Judging for the final ranking will be based on readers’ votes as well as input from the senior editors of Modern Healthcare.

When will the honorees be announced?

The ranking will be announced Dec. 2 on ModernHealthcare.com. Honorees will be recognized in the Dec. 4,  issue of Modern Healthcare magazine.
