Can B. Sc candidates apply for the JSSC JE exam?

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC)  conducts the JSSC JE exam. The JSSC Junior Engineer exam is conducted for the Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical. The candidates who have done their B.Sc cannot apply for the JSSC JE examination. 

The candidates with the required educational credentials, including a Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical trade, as well as other requirements are eligible to apply for JSSC JE Recruitment. Who Can Apply for JSSC JE Exam?

  • The candidates who have obtained a diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical engineering from a recognized university. 
  • The candidates who have higher education qualifications can also apply for the JSSC Junior Engineer recruitment.

Selection procedure for JSSC JE Recruitment 

A written test and an interview are both parts of the JSSC selection process.

Written Test: Candidates are required to print their admit cards and bring them to the written exam. The admission card specifies the date and time. To qualify the written exam, the candidates must be known with the JSSC JE syllabus and exam pattern

The test will be conducted in two rounds, Prelims and Mains, and will be conducted online and offline. After passing the preliminary test, candidates must proceed to the Mains exam.

The ability to acquire the minimum qualifying marks specified by the authorities for the various positions will be used to select candidates for interviews. To be considered for the positions for which they have applied, shortlisted individuals will be asked to participate in an interview process.

Eligibility for JSSC JE Recruitment 

  • Electrical Trade Diploma from a recognised university or institute. Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Electrical Trade Diploma from a recognised university or institute. Candidates with better qualifications are also eligible for these roles.
  • Civil Trade Diploma from a recognised university/institute. Junior Engineer (Civil): Civil Trade Diploma from a recognized university/institute. Candidates with better qualifications are also eligible for these roles.
  • A diploma in the mechanical profession from a recognised university or institute is necessary for Junior Engineer (Mechanical).
