“We understand that while it’s certainly a strong market out there, our customers are still facing challenges like supply chain uncertainty, inflation and labor constraints, to name a few,” said Craig Black, Baldwin’s Vice-president of sales. “Our goal is to help attendees learn how we can help to alleviate some of these stressors while ultimately increasing their bottom-line profitability through higher productivity, improved quality, and reduced downtime.”

Meeting ongoing customer demand, Baldwin is launching the Guardian PQV 100 per cent Print Inspection version 4.0. at Labelexpo. Designed and manufactured to help printers achieve print quality perfection and reduce material waste, these state-of-the-art camera systems can provide single or dual sided 100 per cent print quality inspection for any given application. These applications can range from high-volume label production with variable data to inspecting the most challenging security print applications with features such as UV fluorescent, fibre inspection, IR covert, optically variable devices and inks, and magnetic inks. The Guardian PQV solution is designed for ease of use, ultimately reducing the need for operator training and minimising the problem of press staff turnover, the company said in a press release.

“Baldwin has helped secure our future by helping us achieve the optimum balance between internal business efficiency and meeting brand owner expectations,” said Ted Biggs, vice president of manufacturing at AWT Labels and Packaging in Minneapolis, MN.

Visitors to Baldwin’s booth can also find products from its Vision Systems segment, comprising the print industry’s most advanced colour management and inspection technology solutions. Baldwin Vision Systems print inspection and defect tracking workflows make it possible to eliminate all defects from outgoing products, providing perfect quality to brand owners. With offerings including narrow-, mid-, and wide-web, label, and offline proofing and inspection, Vision Systems products are powerful yet simple to use, and deliver a day-to-day boost to production efficiency.

“Our goal at Labelexpo is to connect with attendees and demonstrate how our broad product offerings can support their current and future needs,” said Black. “We invite all visitors to stop by, whether to learn about our products or to simply recharge and meet our team.”

Fuelled by 100 years of innovation, Baldwin supplies new equipment to consumers, maintains and services existing equipment with quality replacement parts and provides highly engineered consumables and engineering services, including upgrades and retrofits in addition to regular maintenance.
