The 1940s-style Twin Tigers jackets have a Sukajan-look that blends American and Japanese street cultures. Featuring a reversible colourway with two designs, the jackets were created by Azuki’s in-house tailor Takeda in Los Angeles, said Azuki. Made of quilted Japanese silk, the eco-insulated jackets’ blue exterior highlights a chenille tiger, and its red interior showcases the Azuki logo. The embroidery on the back, chest, and sleeves are designed by Azuki artist Steamboy.

The Twin Tiger Jacket’s secondary market revenue will contribute to Stand With Asians, an AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) community fund that collaborates with creators to disseminate grants to marginalised AAPI communities, according to an Instagram post by Azuki.

Azuki was founded by Los Angeles-based start-up Chiru Labs, which combines streetwear and skateboard society with striking artwork released as NFTs.
