The China Nonwovens and Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA) recently held the Fifth Member Congress and celebrated its 20th anniversary in Beijing. The Congress reviewed and approved the report of the Fourth Council, and elected the Fifth Council. CNITA includes institutions and associations in the field of nonwovens and technical textiles.
Li Guimei was elected as the president of CNITA. Zhu Xiusen, Duan Shoujiang, and Ji Jianbing were elected as the vice-presidents. Li Yuhao was elected as the chief-engineer, and Zhu Xiusen concurrently served as the secretary-general. The first session of the board of supervisors was also established. Li Lingshen, ex-president of CNITA was elected as the chairman of the board of supervisors, according to a CNITA press release.
Lingshen reviewed his experience as the president of CNITA in the past ten years, shared his thoughts and insights, and suggested that the industry should adhere to the perspective of globalisation in the future to form an industrial ecosystem that is interconnected, high-efficient and synergistic with application fields.

We applaud your accomplishments to date, and wish you continued success as you start your second twenty years,” Dave Rousse, the president of INDA, said in his congratulatory speech.
